The singer, songwriter and actress, Olivia Rodrigo, released "Drivers License", her first original single, which has managed to position itself at number 1 in Spotify's global Top 100 and remains in the Top 3 of sales.

"Drivers License" was born artistically in the summer of last year, when Olivia Rodrigo shared a small clip of the song composed by herself. The reaction of the fans was such that it inspired her to go to the studio with producer and co-screenwriter Daniel Nigro.

Drivers License is a possible ode of love on the fly from Olivia Rodrigo's previous relationship with Joshuat Bassett, who is currently dating Sabrina Carpenter, by doing the last thing she promised him: getting a driver's license.

Not only did the song reach number one on Apple Music's overall list, but also on Spotify's U.S. list and Amazon Music's overall top list.

After its first week, the song has accumulated more than 50 million plays and is still climbing. According to Spotify data, Rodrigo is now the third most played female artist on Spotify since January 12th. To have only one, that's an incredible achievement.
