The Weekend- Blinding Lights

Pop star The Weeknd in November 2019 released "Blinding Lights". This song had already generated a lot of expectations since he came out playing a Mercedes-Benz commercial where he himself is the protagonist of the video. After that came the official recording of the video in Los Angeles and today the song is one of the most viral in Tik Tok's challenges. A song that sounds with an energetic and catchy rhythm that leaves no one indifferent.

Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd presents us with a music video inspired by the 80's in which he shows us a story of "love blindness", although from what is shown in some scenes, drugs have something to do with it.

It is for that reason that throughout the song dark tones are used that contrast with the luminosity of the lights typical of Las Vegas, where the action takes place, to show us that the singer is wrong, blinded by the light of the woman and the city.

The Weekend with "Blinding Lights", has won the award for best video of the year at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), one of the most important awards of the night.

Tesfaye, was nominated for six awards: Best Video of the Year, Best R&B Song, Best Director, Best Cinematography and Best Editing for "Blinding Lights", and Best Artist of the Year.
